Tina Lynn I was born and raised in Middletown and graduated from LCHS. I continued my education at Parkland College where I earned my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. My passion for the last 16 years had been emergency medicine, but had the pleasure of working part time for Greenhaven for the last 7 years. Dr. Bill and Dr. George are wonderful doctors to work for and the company and their goals are what drew me to pursue a full time position with them as Practice Manager of Best Friends. I actually started my career in veterinary medicine at this location when I was 16 years old and Dr. Pierce and Dr. Kvittle gave me my first job in their kennels. I am thrilled to hopefully have the pleasure of starting and ending my career in the same location. It’s crazy how life comes full circle. I love spending my free time with my husband of 17 years, Kevin, and our two wonderful children, Katie and J.R.
We have a small hobby farm outside Lincoln where we raise pigs, cows, chickens and horses. We, of course, have three dogs and four cats. We are active members of the First United Methodist Church, where we have the pleasure of leading Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Our children are active in 4-H, Girl Scouts and Aqualynx. I have loved the opportunity of reuniting old friends and meeting new ones at the clinic and welcome you to come check us out anytime. Office Manager and Certified Veterinary Technician Gabbie Gabbie came to my best friend as an intern while she was finishing veterinary technician school. She graduated in February of 2019 from Midwest Institute. Now she has joined the MBF team and takes the test to become a certified vet tech this August! She has always loved animals and always wanted to help them even when she was a child. She has two cats a crazy orange tabby, names Rufus and a lovable tuxedo named Laila. She is looking to add a dog to her furry family soon. Even though she is new to the field she can’t wait to see what is in store for her. Her love for animals continues to grow everyday! Veterinary Technician Lorena L. I grew up in Easton, Illinois and graduated from Illini Central High School. In 2018 I graduated from Parkland college in Champaign, Illinois where I earned my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. I was an intern at Greenhaven Animal Clinic during my program and started working full time as a CVT in May, then transferred to Best Friends in August. In my free time I love to hang out at home with my two cats, Raisin and Felix, and my boyfriend Nick. I also love spending time outside, especially hiking, along with baking and antiquing.
