William Armbruster, D.V.M.

William Armbruster, DVMI was born in Central Illinois, in Logan County, and grew up on a grain and livestock farm. I attended college at the University of Illinois for my undergraduate degree in animal science and then again for veterinary school. I graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1988. I have continued my education over the years with numerous seminars and conferences, also graduating from the Executive Veterinary Program at the University of Illinois. I have also been active in several veterinary associations throughout the state as well.

Upon graduation, I returned to the area and started working at Greenhaven Animal Clinic, where I had worked as an intern during summers and school breaks. This was to originally only be for a short time, but with all of the great clients and friends that we made, we are still here.

I strive to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine available, and provide the best customer service possible. Since we are the patients advocate and they can’t speak for themselves, we have to let the owners know what is going on and what needs to be done for their best care.

I was lucky enough to meet my wife, Kay, shortly after graduation. We were married in May 1990, and we have been blessed with three wonderful boys: Michael, a recent graduate from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and now living and working as a pharmacist in St Louis. Logan, a recent graduate of the University of Illinois chemical engineering program. Who is now living and working in Indianapolis. William, is a junior at the University of Illinois studying molecular and cellular biology.

In my "spare" time, I enjoy being outdoors hunting, fishing, or working on landscaping. We also enjoy traveling and seeing different parts of the United States. Also, I have been quite active in our church and our church’s school, Carroll Catholic.

Tina Lynn, Office Manager and Certified Veterinary Technician

Tina Lynn, Office ManagerI was born and raised in Middletown and graduated from LCHS. I continued my education at Parkland College where I earned my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. My passion for the last 16 years had been emergency medicine, but had the pleasure of working part time for Greenhaven for the last 7 years. Dr. Bill and Dr. George are wonderful doctors to work for and the company and their goals are what drew me to pursue a full time position with them as Practice Manager of Best Friends. I actually started my career in veterinary medicine at this location when I was 16 years old and Dr. Pierce and Dr. Kvittle gave me my first job in their kennels. I am thrilled to hopefully have the pleasure of starting and ending my career in the same location. It’s crazy how life comes full circle. In my free time, I love spending it with my husband of 17 years, Kevin, and our two wonderful children, Katie and J.R. We have a small hobby farm outside Lincoln where we raise pigs, cows, chickens and horses. We, of course, have 3 dogs and 4 cats. We are active members of the First United Methodist Church, where we have the pleasure of leading Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Our children are active in 4-H, Girl Scouts and Aqualynx.
